John 18:36
“Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews, but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”
How profound is this truth Jesus tried to convey to one whose kingdom was of the world. What kingdom do you belong to? My citizenship is in the United States, but my home is in heaven with My King and Savior. That kingdom is more real to me than the one I live in at this time. I know where I am headed. I know my destiny eternally. No one has to tell me I am not home. I know that. May we not fight for the things not worth fighting for that are of this realm. May we watch anxiously for our Bridegroom to return for us. He keeps His promises always.
