Proverbs 11:25
"The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered."
Following Jesus teaches us to live with open hands. As I was praying one morning for Him to help me not to grasp tightly to anything but Him, I heard Him gently speak, "Teresa, I cannot only empty clinched fist, but I cannot fill a clinched fist." Whatever I have allowed God to empty out of my hands, they have been refilled in an abundance. God doesn’t need our stuff. He simply wants us to be blessed by giving to others. It truly is more blessed to give than to receive. Trust in His character and His love for you. You can give freely resting His promises and His faithfulness.
