The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. "
Dueteronomy 3:18

These are words spoken to Moses by God. Then Moses speaks these words to Joshua before all the people. Moses was a great leader, because he allowed God to lead him. Notice he isn’t giving his opinion, or leaning to his own understanding, or doing what is right in his own eyes. He did that earlier in life, and found it led to destruction as God warned in His Word. (Proverbs 14:12, 16:25)

If only we would learn from Moses and ultimately Jesus Himself, to only speak to others what He has spoken to us. Imagine the spiritual dynamics this would create in our families, and in time, our society as a whole. Great leaders are those who allow God to lead them, and they simply obey His instruction which is always right. Parents lead children which form the body of Christ. If we only gave our children counsel we had sought from God they would be equipped with true wisdom and character for life.

Let us realize we are all leaders in one way or other. Let us purpose in our hearts this week to humbly allow God to lead us, so we might have the assurance to know He goes before us, and will be with us moment by moment as we take each step eventually arriving at the destination he has prepared for us.
In His love.

I love the places He often leads me to, and I am able to take others!
