Psalm 56:8-10
You have taken account of my wanderings, put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book? Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, God is for me. In God, whose Word I praise, in the Lord, whose Word I praise.
God is intimately acquainted with all your ways. (Psalm 139:3) We are assured of this over and over in His Word. God cannot lie. (Hebrews 6:18) He has been with us in our wanderings away from Him. As a result, know He has bottled our tears. He has a book that has your name on it, and He is the author. I take comfort in that.
Do you truly know that God is for you? He is because He said so. It is not His will any should perish. (2Peter 3:9)
How I do praise His Words. They are not the futile thoughts of man, but the promises of a God who is for me, that created me, and has a plan for each day I live on this earth. Embrace the truth of His Words, and as the psalmist, call out to Him today.
