2 Corinthians 5:1-2
For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, inasmuch as we having put it on will not be found naked.

If we live 40 or more years we begin to see our earthly tent being torn down with age. We can do things to counter aging, but we cannot stop it. It is inevitable. The physical being is not eternal, but our spirits are. We are all going to live eternally in heaven or hell. That is not optional. But it is your decision where you will spend eternity. God made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through His Son, Jesus. How wonderful it is to know my future eternally. Yes, I groan to be clothed with my dwelling in heaven. As much as I enjoy life here, I am very aware this is no longer my home, I am just passing through. I pray you have that same assurance. If not, if you will seek it, you can have it. Christ died for all. The Father wants all His children reconciled to Him, but it is our choice. He has chosen you, but you must choose Him. Don’t wait to secure your future eternally.

Photos taken yesterday on an early morning run on the New River Trail from Allisonia to Foster Falls. I had the trail to myself as I ran with several deer who joined me briefly, and a strong awareness of God’s peace listening to the river run.
