Psalm 94:19
"When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul."

Anxiety disorder is very commonly diagnosed in our society and often treated with bi-polar drugs. Often times folks reaction to the drugs are worse than their symptoms even becoming suicidal.

I think we all experience anxious thoughts or anxiety in our daily lives. The arctic winter we are experiencing definitely caused anxiety when I received my gas bill as I am sure it did for many. After my initial shock and melt down , I got myself quieted in His Presence. I poured out my anxieties to Him. As I magnified my awareness of Almighty God, the Creator of all things, My Father, I begin to get my circumstances in true perspective. The holy Spirit began to bring to remembrance His constant faithfulness and provision throughout my entire life. Then I opened His Word and began to read the Psalms. His consolations began to delight my soul. My anxious thoughts were gently washed away, and I began to fill with a peace that passes all understanding. More importantly I was saturated in a perfect love that cast away all my fears. I went to bed not knowing how, but knowing Who was going to provide the answers.

" Be anxious for nothing , but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." ( Philippians 3:21)

May I encourage you to take your small and large anxieties before your Heavenly Father and allow Him to console your anxieties as only He can.
In His love.
