1 Corinthians 10:12-13
Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall. No temptation has overtaken you, but that which is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide you the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
Because I have seen many good men fall, it has caused me to be sober minded, knowing none of us are above falling. There are no new sins. Satan is not a creator. It is the same lies as was in the garden of Eden. He accuses God, and tries to take the Truth from us through his lies. He is still trying to discredit the promises of God. The way of escaping temptation is knowing truth so you don’t fall for the lies. It is simply hiding God’s Word in your heart that you might not sin against Him. If you don’t have the Truth, you have nothing to counter the lies that satan dresses up and makes so appealing. He came to kill, and steal, and destroy you. Jesus came to give you Life, and life more abundantly. (John 10:10) He showed His love for you on the cross. He alone is worthy of your heart. Give it to Him. He will keep you from destruction if you allow Him too.
