2 Corinthians 6:15
"And He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf."

It is so easy to be self consumed. We do not have to be taught selfishness. It comes natural for most of us. Our only hope to change from deep within is to experience the love of Christ in His exemplified life of unselfishness and death on the cross for all of us. He came with a mission to set us free from selfishness, because it reaps a life of misery and unfulfillment.

As we approach the most wonderful holiday of the year, the death and resurrection of Christ, let us take a moment to allow His love and sacrifice to put life in perspective for us. What are consuming your thoughts and time right now in your life? Why did he come? So we might no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who gave all to make that possible for us. Let us place Him first in our lives, and love Him with all our being. He deserves no less.
In His love.

I experienced such joy this weekend presenting to Levi, my grandson who recently turned five, his long awaited birthday gift. He was a beautiful chocolate lab puppy, Hershey! Hershey kisses for Levi and his sweet cousins! Thanking God for the sweetness of life that comes from Him alone.
