Matthew 7:1
"Six days later Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves."
Allow the Lord to lead you up on a high mountain alone with Him. There you too can be transformed in His Presence. I never leave His Presence without experiencing His glory. Sometimes just getting in His Presence on a daily basis is like scaling a mountain. It is hard and takes discipline and perseverance. I must leave all else behind and allow myself time to be alone with Him as I do when I head for a mountain top. I have never literally climbed a high mountain and not been aware of His glory and majesty. Worship is an immediate response with thanksgiving. He is with us always, we are not always with Him. But on top of a mountain the awareness of His Presence is magnified, and there is where I truly find rest, and leave transformed. I believe it is one of the Lord’s favorite meeting places from scripture. It is where we find Jesus going to alone to pray to His Father. I love following Him!
