Matt 23:11-12
"But the greatest among you must be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself, shall be exalted."

Jesus’ teaching is so opposite of this world. No one wants to serve, but everyone strives to exalt themselves. This comes very natural. However, if we are His followers, we must follow His life and what He exemplified. He walked in complete obedience to His Father. We must do the same. If we choose to do so, we will serve effectively with all needs being met. If only we can lose control long enough to be a servant to Him first; then we will be to each other.
In His love.

I appreciate the men who do maintenance on the New River Trail! They are so kind and courteous as they serve all of us who enjoy it. Please take the time to let them know they are valued and appreciated!

Photos taken yesterday of Jackie and Jason fixing a board that had come loose and was sticking out on one of the bridges in the Draper area. The minute I reported it, they were on it. Thank you, Jackie and Jason, for keeping us safe!
