"If I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself, that where I Am, there you may be also." John 14:3

As we feast on the Bread of Life this morning I pray we might all mount up with wings as eagles and soar above the physical realm we are confined to live in at this time. As we allow our spirits to be fed the truth of God’s Word our eyes and heart will be lifted to our promised future in Christ Jesus. God is still and will always remain GOD! Nothing on this earth can change that.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:35 heaven and earth will pass away, but His Words will never pass away. His Words are eternal. No other book in existence can make this claim but the Bible. Jesus also told the disciples in John 15:7 if they would abide in Him, and His Words abide in them, they could ask whatever they wished, and it would be done. This involves turning totally away from this world and to remain aware of His Presence in our lives 24/7, and feast on nothing but His Words. In Him alone we find all wisdom and knowledge. Knowing this is true, why do we allow our hearts and minds to be depleted of Words of Life for words of death and darkness?

Jesus told His disciples in John 14:1 to not let their hearts be troubled, but to believe in Him and all the promises He laid out before them. He is saying the same thing to us today as He isn’t about to leave this world, but to return as He promised. He has prepared a place for you as He said he would, and we are about to be received to Himself, and where He is we shall be. Finally Home! 1 Corinthians 13:12 tells us when we see Him face to face as we shall know Him fully as we are fully known now. What a promise!

I will leave you this morning with the words He left the disciples with before entering into prayer with the Father in the following chapter in John 17.

"These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world. " John 16:33

Let us receive peace into our hearts and minds this morning, and take courage knowing truly He overcame the world long ago both now and forever!
In His love.

As I watched the moon struggle to overcome oppressive, dark clouds and eventually triumph into fullness of light I was reminded of Psalm 89:37:

"It shall be established forever (His Words and Covenants) like the moon; and the witness in the sky is faithful."
