John 14:3
“If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I Am, you may be also.”
As Jesus comforted the disciples with these words, He comforted me also, and He spoke them very personally to my heart. I pray you will hear the same endearing promise as I did. This is my promise that motivates me to look forward to a new year knowing it is my hope no matter what the future holds down here.. He is preparing a place just for me, and He will come for me, and He will receive me to Himself. What comfort and peace the promises of God brings in our lives, and no one can take them from us. Hold onto the promises of God. Great is Thy faithfulness.

I spent a most enjoyable evening with friends walking through Tanglewood Park in Winston Salem yesterday. They have quite a presentation of lights with several options for viewing them. You can take a horse drawn carriage, drive thru, or do a hay ride. We opted to stroll through before cars were allowed in. Gorgeous evening!
